Double W Worldwide has welcomed global brand and communications strategist, Paul Livingstone, as chief strategy partner, strengthening the collective’s ability to help clients deliver clearer, more cohesive brand and campaign thinking.
Before joining Double W, Paul spent over a decade at Iris, where he rose to global head of strategy, guiding multinational clients and leading the strategic development of some of the agency’s most commercially important accounts. Over the years he has shaped brand and comms strategy for Alcon Surgical, Shell, Verisign (.com and .net), Allianz Global Investors, Samsung, Roche Diagnostics and Bosch, often rebuilding strategic functions and bringing clarity to complex portfolios to drive growth.
In his role as chief strategy partner, Paul will sharpen the collective’s strategic direction, align brand, media and creative thinking and work directly with clients to strengthen the coherence and consistency of their campaigns. His arrival gives Double W clients access to senior strategic capability without the overheads or friction of a traditional network agency.
Paul’s experience will also support the collective as it continues shaping new products and strategic offerings, ensuring clients can better understand the pressures shaping modern British households and translate them into meaningful brand and commercial action. Before joining Double W, Paul was global head of strategy at Iris and played a central role in developing global brand positioning, creative strategy and commercial programmes across multiple markets.
Paul Livingstone, chief strategy partner, Double W Worldwide, said, “Double W cuts through the noise and gets to the heart of the challenge. There is a clarity of thinking and a focus on real world problems that instantly connected with me. Working with a collective that wants to build sharper, more human campaigns for ambitious brands is exactly where I want to be. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in.”
Laurence Bray, co-founder, Double W Worldwide, said, “Paul brings a level of strategic experience that lifts everything we do. His background across global brand strategy means our clients get big agency intelligence without big agency overheads. With him involved the strategy is clearer, the work is more aligned, the creative lands harder, and brands scale with more confidence and less chaos.”
